Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll shows only "modest" Bush bounce: 49/45
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/

National Tracking Poll:
Bush 49% Kerry 45%

For the second straight day, the Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%.

Bush is enjoying a modest Convention bounce. Today marks the first time since March 19 that he has held a 4-point lead on consecutive days. The President's Job Approval is at its highest level since April and voters now view him a bit more favorably than John Kerry
<snip>

Dread not Boys & Girls! It appears that the Time/CNN poll was a vicious lie vomited from the jaws of Hell!

Bush got the same bounce form his convention which we got from ours...3 or 4%.

BFD!

Let's get to work.

2. I used to put some concern into the polls
But this year is VERY different.
These "likely" voters they talk to do not include the "motivated" voters and "first time" voters who want this corrupt regime out.

Yes, we must continue to work hard, but I don't give a flying figleaf what ANY poll says. It will be Kerry in a landslide. Even if the election was held today.

3. I agree they aren't calling cell phones
and the youth are more likely to have abandoned their land lines

I also have a feeling many of the African Americans I see with cell phones do not have land lines.

Likely voters have voted before.

Low income people are pissed and terrorism is not what they are worried about.

5. Half the people you see in public support this moron
that is what is depressing. After 4 years of his puke, he's at the same number he was at in 2000 when he got half the vote.

If this was the 1970's when we had a free press he'd have 28% approval.

6. Not bad, but today's numbers will include Bush's acceptance speech
Probably will be up but nothing like eleven points.
