With the help of a Bay Area political consultant, Mike produced two campaign spots about himself -- one positive, one negative. Which one would you remember days later? We showed these commercials to viewers in the Bay Area and asked the same question.

It is well known that focus groups will say they hate negative ads, the problem is that the dirt they throw sticks, and they influence public opinion.
