Attack ads with Bushisms: "Fool me one once, shame on you..."

Use the pResidents words/video to open a set of ads- each followed by contrasting Bush audio saying one thing and then saying or doing another, while scrolling referenced text quotes over compelling images. Maybe throw in a little voice over.

End the ads with something like Bush's own "Fool me — you can't get fooled again," or a similar theme. Punchy 30 second ads- easily modified for radio.

What do you all think? Do we have enough ammunition to reach regional target audiences about issues that are near and dear to them?

How would you fill in the blanks in the various battleground states?

Interesting idea, but my guess is that F-911 has that angle covered.

Still, it seems to me that one of the best weapons in our arsenal is Bush himself. Put him on display- using our creative advantage, I think we can reach the very same people more effectively than Republicans can. It kinda sucks to go there, but this is war and we can't pull punches.

3. His own words are the most damning.
Put that "All in all, it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me" in front of the American people and remind them that he said that at the end of 2001. It would make a devastating commercial.
