Ad ideas (let's help them fight back)
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 05:26 PM by private_ryan
Here's one of mine. Please post yours.

Bush saying: Bring em on and then an announcer says that they (iraqis) did. Show footage of explosions, wounded soldiers, dead ones and the numbers.

it ends with the announcer saying to Bush that unless he plans to grab a rifle and fight, he shouldn't say bring it on because soldiers are paying the price. Words to that effect.

It has to be personal and embarras the son of a bitch. Fight back

1. NICELY NEGATIVE ADS FOR KERRY
(1) Split screen...One shows a twin tower falling. Other side is Bush reading to the children with the "deer in the headlights" stare
Commentary: Unfit for Command

(2) Pictures 0f those RNC morons mocking the purple heart. Commentary: Mr. Bush did not disown this activity. This is what the Bush Administration REALLY thinks about the military and its medals.

(3) Picture of Max Cleland sitting in his wheelchair at the ranch waiting for Bush to do the right thing.
Commentary: This is what Bush thinks of American war heroes. Bush spouts "values," doesn't live by them.

(4) Go with Walt Starr's infamous ribbon picture.

(5) Bush blabbing on top of the WTC rubble about soon our enemies are going to hear from us. Split screen to American bodies in Iraq, etc. "Where is Osama Bin Laden?"

(6) Use any number of "Bushisms," the uglier the better.

(7) Ad devoted to Bush and his 4 or more Flip Flops on the issue of Terrorism: Mission Accomplished, Mission Miscalculated, Mission Impossible, Mission (Again) Possible

2. two that I think they must do
1. A smart ad explaining how the Senate works when voting for more than one version of the "same" bill. That issue of him voting for and against the 87 million must be addressed. It can imply that * obviously doesn't understand the Senate and that is why he is ridiculing it.

2. Using the footage from F9/11 when he says you are my base to the ultra rich donors and then have footage of Kerry talking to regular people expressing their financial worries. This would address his "Hollywood is his base"/out of touch with middle America problem.

3. How about...
Bush: "The economy is growing stronger."

FACT: Over 1.3 million more people went into poverty in this year alone.

Bush: "America is safer today from terrorist threats."

FACT: Global terrorism has increased in the last four years.

Bush: "I believe the situation in Iraq is getting better."

FACT: American soldiers continue to die every day in Iraq.

If you can't deal with reality...how can you lead a country?

4. Or...
John Kerry: A nice guy, who cares about America.

(scenes of Kerry talking to everyday people)

George Bush: Ugly and stupid.

(scenes of Bush being an idiot)

You decide.
