Bob Graham: 9/11 hijackers tied to Saudi Govt.
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/9584265.htm

WASHINGTON — Two of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers had a support network in the United States that included agents of the Saudi government, and the Bush administration and FBI blocked a congressional investigation into that relationship, Sen. Bob Graham wrote in a book to be released Tuesday.

The discovery of the financial backing of the two hijackers “would draw a direct line between the terrorists and the government of Saudi Arabia, and trigger an attempted coverup by the Bush administration,” the Florida Democrat wrote.

And in Graham’s book, “Intelligence Matters,” obtained by The Miami Herald on Saturday, he makes clear that some details of that financial support from Saudi Arabia were in the 27 pages of the congressional inquiry’s final report that were blocked from release by the administration, despite the pleas of leaders of both parties on the House and Senate intelligence committees.

1. Graham would make an excellent Intel Director
'It was, in short, a vivid and terrifying case for war. The problem was it did not accurately represent the classified estimate we had received just days earlier,'' Graham wrote. ``It was two different messages, directed at two different audiences. I was outraged.''

2. This has the potential
to be quite explosive. He's tying Bush to a cover-up of this information. This is beyond Michael Moore's wildest dreams.

3. I have wondered if this is why Graham retired. So he could speak out.
Many of us have wondered. That is a powerful article. He seems to be really angry.

Bob Graham, my long time governor and senator, I truly understand your anger. You have a powerful voice, and it is good to see your book coming out.

Thanks to you, Bob Graham, for your long and respected career.

9. It is not just an article, it is an article about his book coming out
next week. See post above with Amazon link.

Image a few weeks of this in the press (with the help of DU media blitzing emails) and then the DVD release of F911 -- WE HAVE TO KEEP THIS GOING!!

14. I think it's important
...this is no lying swiftboat idiot with a grudge. This is a respected 3-term senator and 2-term governor. He's gonna get some airtime somewhere.

7. Something odd....
Last night, there was a news ticker scrolling across the top of my screen about someone (Cantor - another 9-11 connected company? I don't remember exactly who it was) suing the Saudi government for 9-11 losses.

I was gonna post a link here but I cannot find any mention of it whatsoever now. Lots of articles about the 9-11 families suing in 2002 but nothing now. That really bugs me.

12. Good. At least I know the info is still out there somewhere.
Someone posted about it on another thread too. I keep asking myself how people cannot put this all togehter. If Saudi has been sued numerous times and is even still being sued, how can listen to the idiots saying it was Sadaam? How can they not be just as outraged and itchin' to invade Saudi Arabia. Their logic makes absolutely no sense.

10. this was predictable
The Bush Junta repeatedly implied 911 terrorist connections with Saddam yet did everything in their power to conceal any connections to the Saudi Royal Family. I'm glad Graham is speaking out. I only wish Kerry's position on Iraq was more clear so he could demand these censored pages be released.
