The questions were far easier than Bush's political challenge in Ohio, a state he won in 2000 with 50 percent of the vote to Al Gore's 46.4 percent.

A child asked Bush whether he, like his father, turned his nose up at broccoli.

"It's OK," Bush replied. "I'm not nearly as turned off by it as my dad. I kind of like the top of the broccoli."
