Let's generate a talking point list. Bush is WEAK because:
1. His swagger belies his insecurity about Daddy.

1. He's weak because he had to resort to a pack of lies to involve
our nation in a war in Iraq. He's weak because he can't win an election without resorting to mud throwing. If this election ever gets based on real issues he's a goner.

8. He is weak because...
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 02:43 AM by girl gone mad
1. he's a puppet for the neocons

2. he was too cowardly to fight in a war he supported, and he loves to take credit for having served in the Guard, even though he was grounded and went AWOL.

3. 7 minutes, plus running from bunker to bunker then spreading lies abnout AF1 being under attack to cover for looking like such a wimp.

4. Where's Osama?

5. Says he'll get tough in Fallujah, then ends up letting al Sadr make deals which force our Marines to leave with their tails between their legs. (Hey, you're asking why he is weak.)

6. Chalabi and now there are more spies.

7. WH staff outs a CIA agent and he won't do anything about it.

8. Has to run a sleazy smear campaign because his record is so crappy.

I could go on and on... I'll give someone else a turn.

9. His Administration is plagued with classic Groupthink!!!
Groupthink is a term coined by psychologist Irving Janis in 1972 to describe one process by which a group can make bad or irrational decisions. In a groupthink situation, each member of the group attempts to conform his or her opinions to what they believe to be the consensus of the group. This results in a situation in which the group ultimately agrees on an action which each member might normally consider to be unwise.

Janis' original definition of the term was "a mode of thinking that people engage in when they are deeply involved in a cohesive in-group, when the members' strivings for unanimity override their motivation to realistically appraise alternative courses of action." The word groupthink was intended to be reminiscent of George Orwell's coinages (such as doublethink and duckspeak) from the fictional language Newspeak, which he portrayed in his ideological novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Groupthink tends to occur on committees and in large organizations. Janis originally studied the Pearl Harbor bombing, the Vietnam War and the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Later others have cited groupthink as a contributing factor in the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster as well as the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, the bankruptcy of Enron, and more recently, the decision to go to war in Iraq in 2003.

16. He accuses others (Kerry) of his greatest weaknesses
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 08:04 AM by emulatorloo
He says Kerry has no accomplishments (Results Matter)
He implies Kerry lied about his military service (Swift Boat Ads)
He says Kerry is a flip-flopper when Bush is a huge flip flopper
He has Halliburton Cheney say Kerry has no strong sense of right or wrong, while Dick takes kickbacks from Halliburton
He says Kerry won't defend us from terrorists, when Bush was weak and didn't go after Osama
He says Kerry won't support our troops, when Bush is the one who sent them to war w/o body armor and is cutting their pay.

20. because he ignored the Aug. 6, 2001 PDB
Create an issue that brings the media to us using viral and guerilla marketing techniques.

Please help me get the word out.

Most people have not read the 8/6/2001 PDB. I created a postcard size version.

Please print and distribute the image above. High res version for printing available below. Put them on car windows. Hand them out on street corners. We don't need TV buys to get some attention on this issue. We have to undermine Bush's perceived strength. We all are potential disseminators of printed media. We do not need a newspapers permission or lots of money for TV commercials. We need viral grass roots marketing. We need to create a buzz. If we create a buzz with massive distribution of printed ads we will get media coverage. If these start miraculously appearing and no one knows where they are coming from it will start to get media attention. A whole series of True/False print pieces could be cretaed using their own words to impeach them. Rice, Ashcroft and Cheney. We must mock them to appeal to the limbic brain.

Bush admininistration's INCOMPETENCE is key to undermining his strength.
