I may have found something huge on Stephen Marks Moveonforamerica.org HELP
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 03:29 AM by mynameisdane
I came accross this http://204.65.203.2/public/163786.pdf after googling his name and address. It's a Texas campaign finance reform form from 2000. On October 30th, there was a $8,132.09 transaction between Marks and Texans for Lawsuit Reform. Please someone with legal experience look over this document and see if we have anything important on him here.

1. Make sure you download the file in case it gets deleted
Bush is known to delete anything from his websites that makes him look bad - not that you would know by watching the media. :)

8. Texans for Lawsuit Reform - Perry and Crow.
Harlan Crow and Bob Perry, Members of Texans for Lawsuit Reform are the primary support money behind Swift Liars.

From my email to several media outlets and John Kerry when this crap first started:

"Perry has been a primary funder of efforts to limit civil liability in Texas, contributing $415,000 to Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC, the state's largest non-party political committee."

"Texans for Lawsuit Reform, is a so called grass roots organization of tycoons (Harlan Crow, Bob Perry Homes, etc.) who made fortunes in litigious industries: Texans for Public Justice for example claim Harlan Crow runs a company which leads the state (Texas) in workplace deaths and injuries. I continue to trace the money."

Texans for Public Justice has some good stuff on these guys.

11. so....
Perry contributes to TLR which Marks advises (and was paid for doing so). Isn't this a concrete connection between SBVFT and MOFA?

Kenneth Lay contributed to Texans for Lawsuit Reform.

13. Conclusion
Stephen Marks works (worked?) as a consultant to Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a company which has GWB close friend Kenneth Lay as one of their largest donners. He is responsible for the "Move On For America" ads. If these go mainstream, does the evidence above seem strong enough to connect the dots?

14. Stephen Marks is part of Bush-GOP “Texas Mafia” - We Know it well!!
Stephen Marks is part of the Bush “Texas Mafia” Cartel tied in with the Texans for Legal Reform.

Texans For Legal Reform (TLR) is a Bush-GOP-Rove-“Texas Mafia” Entity. We know it well!

It was started back when Bush was Governor by Enron’s Key Lay and used as a big tool to water down the Texas legal system as to Corporate Liability and lawsuit exposure. It has all the big Bush “Texas Mafia” players in it.

Of interest Robert J. “Bob” Perry (Houston) Mr. $200,000 donor to O’Neill-SBVT, is TLR’s largest donor. Perry is also the largest donor to Bush’s “War Dog” Rep. House Majority Leader Tom “Most Corrupt Politician in America” DeLay (Houston).

Perry and DeLay are like Mutt and Jeff, if one is around the other is not far away. DeLay is currently under a massive criminal grand jury investigation, for all the fun stuff being fraud, bribery, conspiracy, money laundering, and criminal misuse of Public office!

Also the Feds accidentally found documents while investigation Enron, that could mean jail time for DeLay, Perry, and some of the Bush Texas Mafia boys!

This is why the Bush Texas Mafia and the GOP is pulling every duty trick in the book to get Bush elected. Some of Bush’s buddies are going to jail, and they need “Clinton style” Presidential pardons from Bush.

Also of interest is another large donor, to TLR being Harlan Crow(Dallas) who is the second largest donor to O’Neill’s SBVT fraud. Gee small world.

Over the years, I understand but have not personally verified, that TLR has shoved millions to Bush and his interests. I’ll check it out when I get back in the office Tuesday.

Dueling Ads Criticize Bush, Gore on Racial Matters
By Christine Hall
CNS Staff Writer
October 25, 2000

http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPolitics.asp?Page= \Politics\archive\200010\POL20001025h.html

The Americans Against Hate ad, which is running at the same time as the NAACP ad, attacks Gore for his past dealings with Sharpton. The ad shows footage of Gore defending a private meeting he had with Sharpton in February, and urging his audience to "not be so quick to completely dismiss what has to say."

American Against Hate alleges that Sharpton, among other things, once praised Adolph Hitler as "a great man." The ad also shows video footage of Sharpton urging college students to kill police officers.

"We're trying to get these ads out between now and the election to spread the word that the hate in this country is not on the right but on the left," said Stephen Marks, a spokesman for the group. According to Marks, the group is mainly funded by a few big dollar contributors from Tennessee.

Also, according to http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/0420/barrett.php, someone named Stephen Marks was a staffer for Pat Buchanan who wrote an apparently questionable article for Penthouse Magazine about "campaign finance improprieties" in 1996.(http://www.villagevoice.com/issues/9944/vest.php )
