I got in on this Tinklenberg contribution frenzy early on and I'll never forget this day on DU.

Wow. That is really all I can say. I've always bragged about the power we in the grass roots community have created as organized donors to a campaign, but something about this really makes me feel it more than any of the times I've given to candidates before.

Words just can't describe how awesome this movement is to me. Anyone else out there feeling the same way?

I came back to my computer after seeing that segment this afternoon determined to do something, to donate to whoever her opponent was now or in the future.

I was THRILLED to see so many people with the same reaction and determination and ideas. Here at DU and on numerous other blogs. I'm feeling really good about this. I hope Ms Bachman rues (for a long, long time) opening her horrid mouth to spew that garbage.

17. She's been that nuts forever

I guess you get used to it being up close with a turd like Bachmann. I'm in Keith Ellison's district (thank the FSM) but Bachmann has ALWAYS sounded that whacked. She used to sneak around in the bushes at gay rights rallies at the state capitol. She wanted to spy on the evil queers but not get so close that "teh gay" would rub off. She's crazier than a shithouse rat and as nutty as a squirrel turd.

I can't say enough about how DU has stood up for El Tinklenberg - a thoroughly decent guy who was the best transportation commissioner the state has ever had - and gone to bat for him. I've been unemployed for almost three years and have nothing to kick in, but damn, I have never been prouder to be a part of this wonderful community. And I know my cousin, who lives in Eichmann's, sorry, Bachmann's district, is doing everything she can to get out the Dem vote and retire the evil bitch for good.

15. That awful Bachmann clip from Hardball was one of the worst things I've ever seen.

Watching her rant about who among those who disagree with her is "anti-American". Good God. I hated her already, but I really hate her now. She and her kind are a major threat to our country. Pure McCarthyism! "Are you now or have you ever been...."
