I think she was implying that Palin would be saying that she couldn't wake up McCain cause he was sleepin.

that Sarah Palin's accent is a weird combination of Fargo, Reese Witherspoon from Election, and someone's grandmother that she knows...and she imitated the grandmother, saying she says stuff like "You know, this and that, and stuff like that.", and the Paula thing.

response would be "No, Paula's sleepin'" which helped her in her characterization on the SNL skit

many of her words, which gave her ideas on how to do the Palin character
