He certainly deserves it. AND defeat in November. All America deserves that, too.

This week we have received a total of 12 flyers, and 2-3 robo-calls per day from either the RNC or the McCain-Palin campaign.

For a Senator and Presidential candidate who prides himself on his honor, I find the fear and smear tactics to be without honor.

In 2000, this same Senator decried very same tactics as being shameful. During a primary debate with Bush, McCain said of the negative attacks by Bush "You have no shame."

In January 2008, McCain told employees at BAE Systems that Romney's loss was due to his negative campaigning. McCain said "People are not going to be fooled by negative campaigns."

In March 2008, McCain said he would "... just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you don't have much of a vision for the future or you're not ready to articulate it."

Over 95% of his campaign ad budget is being devoted to fear and smear. He offers no substance, no vision and is obviously not willing to articulate it. The way a person campaigns offers insight on how they would run their administration. At a time when we need constructive solutions to serious problems - McCain has shown he prefers to be destructive. This is NOT change - it's more of the same.
