I didn't see any organized fundraising drive for Representative McCarthy-in-a-Skirt, but they were moaning about how much money has been raised for Tinklenberg.

One or two people said they were donating to Bachmnn, but that was it.

7. I don't think it was speaking out for McCain that did it

There have been many Representatives who have backed McCain on TV and they haven't seen this reaction. It was what she said about Obama and her world view that caused the reaction, not backing McCain.
I expect Republicans to back McCain. I don't have any problem with that. I DO have a problem with smears against Obama, Democrats, and liberal in general.
