. . .not ready for prime-time.

I'm actually looking forward to tonight.

2. I'm not looking forward to it....
You know that the whole thing is going to be self deprecating and she'll seem like such a good sport and all the salivating pundits are going to talk about how it made her seem more "normal" and an average person. Nobody will point out the hypocricy of her railing against hollywood and the coastal elites but then appearing on a big television show out of New York.

We're in a situation where every couple of points counts and this close to the race, I'm more nervous than I normally am and am worried that this, plus everyone fawning over McCain's performance at that dinner the other night are going to make their ticket seem less like the unhinged hate filled lunatics they are and cause people at the last minute to go "Well, maybe they're not that bad."

Hope I'm wrong, no doubt but my negative instincts usually prove correct.

3. Perfectly stated
You're absolutely right. They won't point out the hypocrisy of her anger/hatred toward the lower 48, the East Coast (Philly hated her for it), or her Hollywood slams.

I'm not watching.

Why should she get free air time like this -- when she won't even sit down to an interview, hold a press conference or answer any unscripted questions. It makes me sick.

I think our only hope in all this is that SNL tends to have a liberal-minded audience. But then, they'll probably fill the house with her supporters.

Can't bear to watch.

4. I'm in the NJ/NYC tv market...
and the news shows this morning showed people already lining up outside of Rockefeller Center to get in to the show tonight.
