This is a must read, we must never forget Bush FAILED America!
Unfortunately, Bush has never been asked - not even once - to explain these statements. His memory not only contradicts every single media report, it also contradicts what he said that evening. In his speech to the nation that evening, Bush said: "Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our government's emergency response plans." It's not known what these emergency plans were, because neither Bush nor anyone in his administration mentioned this immediate response again. Implementing "emergency response plans" seems to completely contradict Bush's "by the way" recollection of a small airplane accident.

I said out loud to my wife Bin Laden! If a guy in a backwaters town in Wisconsin could have sensed this was a terror attack why not the Prez ?

4. And did he really think it was "one bad pilot"?
Considering that the 8/6/01 Presidential Daily Briefing specificly warned of OBL plotting terrorist attacks against the hi profile US targets using planes?

IMHO, one reason why they fought so hard to keep the PDB secret was that it clearly contradicted the covering excuse Bush gave the American people for his inaction.

Incriminal incompetence or willful LIHOP, they are guilty of neglecting the security of the US and 3000 Americans paid with their life on 9/11/01.

7. I wonder how many people know he had a portable SAM system
where he stayed at the resort hotel on 9/10/01. Kind of odd, considering Condi told us (again BEFORE the PDB became known) that they never thought hijackers would use planes as weapons.

9. Wasn't that even contradicted in the 9-11 commission report?
Bush didn't do anything except run. He didn't ground the planes or anything. Does anyone know what he was doing all day besides being shuttle from safehouse to safehouse?

10. Hiding out from the public.
Why? Why would a President not be making this the high profile opportunity to be with the people? Karl didn't understand the impact that a visible Dimson woud have made on the public?

No, I think they needn't a lot of time outside of the public spotlight in order to rewrite the story. The last thing they wanted was Bush in front of the public incriminating himself.
