These polls are horsecrap!
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 10:26 AM by Nightjock
Yes, the thought of another 4 years of Bush is scary but in all due respect to the people panicking "Please shut the hell up!"

These are "likely" voters that these people are polling. They are not,AND CANNOT, guage the ABSOLUTELY motivated people who want Bush out.
Close to 100 million people did not vote in 2004.

I do not know a single person who voted for Gore in 2000 that is voting for Bush.

I have personally witnessed and talked to SCORES of 18-24 year olds that did not give a SHIT about politics that have registered to vote, or did not vote in 2000, and all they want to do is just to get that scumbag out of office.
Time Magazine? Newsweek? Can you poll that?

One of those Repug talking heads said a couple of weeks ago the MTV crowd "always say they are going to register two million people and make a difference and they do nothing."
They are in for a fucking surprise.

FIVE diehard republican friends of mine, who swallowed every line of bull, have finally seen Bush for the liar he is and will not vote for him this time.

I live on a part of Long Island that is 70 percent Republican.
EVERY time I wear my "Not My President" t shirt I get a half a dozen compliments.

I went to an enormously popular mall with my wife yesterday and saw 10 Kerry bumperstickers and not one sticker for Bush. IN AN AREA THAT IS SEVENTY PERCENT REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!

On one of the busiest streets in this city there is a John Kerry placard on every other telephone poll FOR MILES-BOTH WAYS. IN AN AREA THAT IS SEVENTY PERCENT REPUBLICAN!!!!!!!!

I swear on my kids I have NEVER seen anything like this before.

Every day I read a post here at DU of a Bush voter switching.

Stick it up your ass Time and Newsweek!!! Your polling methods are outdated are pure shit.

Kerry will win in a LANDSLIDE and the only people who will be surprised are the idiots not paying attention.

Sorry if I offended anyone. I know what I see, hear and read and I cannot take the bullshit media anymore telling me things that are not true.

2. I hope you are right....
you have confirmed what I have been silently THINKING this past week. I know of LOTS of new voters who are supporting Kerry and I know of lots of people who are sick of Bush and his policies. I sure hope this remains true and Kerry comes out on top in November. It's scary to think of another 4 years of dipwad in the WH.
