Going to see OBAMA!!!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I am leaving soon. Gates don't open till 4 but I want to get a good spot. The park where he will be is long and narrow so a lot of people will not be able to see him.

I am also nervous about parking and may have to park my car uptown and ride the bus.

I have a question for anyone who has been to see him recently. The announcement said please don't bring bags. But I have a new camera and want to take an extra lens (so I can get a good close up shot of him). Should I just take the camera and forget about the extra lens and the bag? Or will they let me in with my camera bag?

Oh and in the event it is streamed online, look for me. I will be wearing an OBAMA/BIDEN shirt. :)

5. In Las Vegas, people brought in bags.

They were searched on the way in. And you don't need to RSVP - though it's a good way for the campaign to get your address, etc.

Expect to fill out a "ticket" on the way in as well.

Bring one of his books to sign - the secret service will collect them (if you are close enough), and he will sign them after the rally.
