I've never had it but since I'm having company and they love Obama I'm thinking this would be a good reward for them. Michelle Obama's mother makes the one Barack likes so I don't know if there's different recipes for this dessert.

Always looking for a good pie recipe and the way Senator Obama spoke of it last week, made me want to taste one. I love making pie. And I love sweet potatoes!

13. My first Thanksgiving with my husband's family I made a pie.

A sweet potato pie.

They looked at me (and the pie) like I was from Mars.

This happened in New Hampshire.

I'm guessing that's more of a pumpkin pie kind of state.... :rofl:
