Help I have a reporter from a local tv station that wants
info on what our Dem group is doing so he can cover it. It is a cbs affiliate, I want to let him know about the story from the Guardian about "Ms. Allison" and the her husband before the 60 minutes segment airs. I think he is hungry. Who should I direct him to or what link should I direct him to. I don't want to blow what "could" be a good break for Reno NV which is the most highly saturated city in the nation right now for ads.

1. Why not PM Skinner directly for his thoughts....
We as a group should give input, but I think he should as well.

7. Oh, if you haven't read Mrs. Linda Allison's revealations about where
the weed that would be king was in 1972 (working with her husband and not in the guard) then you must read the articles. Salon reported it Thursday and the link has been provided by another poster in this thread as has the guardian article.

I highly recommend that you read it!

6. Linda Allision's article was reported in Salon - I believe it was Thurs.
edition.

Be sure you give him the scoop on Walt Starr's research re the idiot wearing a medal he was not awarded. That is very important, ties in well with Mrs. Allison's revealation!

8. I think Kerry's better served if the story the reporter does is organized
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 11:03 AM by AP
arround the theme of what Kerry stands for, rather than a criticism of what Bush is.

In other words, if the reporter just does a story about the Guardian article in a piece that's about what Democrats are doing to get Kerry elected, you haven't given the public a reason to vote for Edwards.

Of course, the story can be that Kerry tells the truth, looks after working and middle class people, and is going to make America stronger by making Americans stronger. Then you can contrast that to Bush: a person who doesn't tell the truth, has a history of protecting his ass while shifting the risk of protecting America and economic risk on to people lower down the wealth ladder, and who thinks that THAT's how you make America stronger. You can use the Guardian story as evidence of Bush's philosophy of how the world works.

But I think if you don't frame your use of the article with an argument about who John Kerry is and what John Kerry stands for, the story will be lost on many viewers.

10. Thank you
I just want someone do investigate it and bring it to the public attention and do not want it to appear "partisan" that's why I'm asking for help. Since it is his CBS station that is airing the the Ben Barnes segemtn on 60 minutes he might be hungry enough to do a story for the national news section of the "local news" and NV is swing state.
