Did you just see her walking on stage holding her baby in one hand and waving with the other!

4. Sarah is a finished fool -
What a horrible example for young mothers.

She is right up there with Britany for " Dumb Mother Of The Year."

It is sinful.

She is not a poster mother for Special Needs youngsters.

7. Yes, she's definitely using grandson Trig as a prop.
Notice the rightwing media is not pointing out how the nazi party members kept saying that John Edwards was using his kids as photo props; yet that's exactly what the Psycho Sarah is doing to Trig.

Wasn't Bristol "staying with relatives" during those 7 months?

18. That's it -- Babygate
There is a piece missing.

I'm thinking more and more that the baby is Bristol's too.

How old is this little one?

Wasn't she in another State, the water broke and she STILL took a long plane ride to get home?

22. Yes, but remember,
she can field-dress a moose...whatever the hell that means...so maybe she thought she'd be able to birth her own kid if need be. But I think Bristol went into labor and Sarah rushed home to "prepare" for the birth.

Plus, in June/July photos of Bristol holding that baby, she's looking at Trig with a mother's love in her eyes.

It's still strange that Bristol and Levi aren't getting married until next summer...maybe just long enough for people to forget about everything and maybe even time to have their second baby!!! But I'm going off the deep end here.

10. This is from the website of the Down Syndrome Association
There is no way that a child at risk for infections should be hauled around in those settings.

No way.

She is abusing that baby -- if it is a real baby and I am beginning to wonder.

Has anyone ever seen the baby move?

"Children with Down syndrome have a higher incidence of infection, respiratory, vision and hearing problems as well as thyroid and other medical conditions. However, with appropriate medical care most children and adults with Down syndrome can lead healthy lives. The average life expectancy of individuals with Down syndrome is 55 years, with many living into their sixties and seventies."

He was a healthy, robust baby with no problems....why in the hell would any parent do this??? Let alone a parent with a special needs child???

Palin is IMO a sick selfish bitch to use and abuse her infant this way.

21. I was an Administrator in charge of Special Needs
Classes for many years.

I also was responsible for thousands of students that did not have needs such as Sarah's baby.

I have never seen any Mother handle a baby in that manner.

In no way is this appropriate behavior and certainly she should not be praised by McCain for her concern about Special Needs children.

I am laughing really hard. Did you mean Meadow as a joke?, because its funny. The names those kids have. Though I do like the name Piper. There was an actress named Piper Laurie and Angie Dickenson played a character named Piper in a cop show in the 70's.

to fit.

I just cam't imagine them carefully taking the time to think of sweet meaningful names for their children.

Mommy Dearest is just too busy taking care of her needs.

50. Police Woman - Angie Dickenson
I think her name was "Pepper" on the show.

To me the thing that makes the Palin kids' names seem so strange is that they ALL have unusual names. It seems so pretentious - does she think of herself as a movie star or something?

when she reached the front of the stage area, she turned the baby around and holding him under the armpits, seemed to be presenting him to the crowd. (That was after the 1-arm grip.) This is just so bizarre.

I have a grandson just a little younger that Trig. His mother wouldn't dream of subjecting him to the noise, bright lights and risk of infection that comes with rallies and large crowds. I can't believe that the media has not called Palin out on her treatment of her baby.

49. I dont normally have issues with her dealings with the kids....
I dont mind that she takes them on the road, I dont mind for her to have taken them on the stage at the RNC. But I have to confess, the Trig baby tote today was a bit odd.

And this is a fairly harmless looking picture, but the video was worse.

I think if Piper and Willow had come out too, it would be different, but it seemed like pandering.

52. If he were never shown to the thousands waiting to see the Palin family,
or never seen by video in the MSM, the mantra would then be "See, she's ashamed of having a DS baby", or, "She's too prissy to have this child in her arms while she is campaigning", or, She's too narcissisitic to bother with her baby", or "She's not the mother of that baby, or she would be holding it more", or, well, I could go on and on and on. Why don't you choose legitimate reasons to criticize her? Like animal rights, or drilling in ANWR, or so many other things you could bring up, rather than the very neat way she shows that a woman can have a career and children at the same time.
