Racist 'N-Word' Robocall Reported In Pennsylvania
According to the election analysis site FiveThirtyEight.com, some Pennsylvanians have complained about a robocall that impersonates Barack Obama and includes racial epithets:

"Over in Indiana, PA and Northern Cambria, PA, volunteers fielded complaints of a massive wave of ugly robocalls both paid for by John McCain's campaign and those paid for by third parties. The third party call was interactive, and purported to be from Barack Obama himself. The call starts out reasonably, and then "Obama" asks what the listener thinks is the most important issue. Whatever the response, "Obama" then launches into a profane and crazed tirade using "n***er" and other shock language."

For those who are getting robo-calls and hate them, please contact your local officials so they can denounce them as Susan Collins in Maine or Harry Reid has. Secondly, for those who receive the racist one listed above do the same but also address the huffpost article email listed to let them know and the list of contacts at this link:

In my opinion these robocalls need to be fought as well and we shouldn't just run on the belief that people hate them and won't listen to them. Let's make sure to end their run.

2. It's just amazing how low they'll go
I posted over on Kos that I think the McCain* campaign is a litmus test of just how low they can go in Presidential and state politics and from this test will either continue to use these strategies in the future or go another route if the racist/hateful stuff is derided on a large scale.

10. Yeah, these people are going horribly dirty and hence
the reason we can't be complacent here. They want to destroy our candidate and this may have some affect for reluctant voters for Obama, we have to be realistic on that. A lot of people could swing their vote over because of fear.

GREENSBURG (KDKA/AP) ― Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's husband is campaigning for his wife and Sen. John McCain at campaign stops in Western Pennsylvania.

Todd Palin's next stop was to be at a tailgate event outside the Penn State-Michigan football game with Republican Attorney General Tom Corbett, who is running for a second term.

13. Yes we do. Huffpost is on top of getting this recording.
I just think this should be illegal. Just robo-calls in general. Even if the shit is not connected with McCain, it's done to tarnish Obama and give votes to McCain. These people are going too far.
