5. Basically at this point if McCain* says something bad about Obama
Just turn it around because he's "flipping" everything at his rallies.

2. yeah, not so much, McCain.
Obama was in the neighborhood knocking on doors, and Joe decided he wanted to be an ass and try to ambush Obama on the street . Obama answered the question in great detail, and Joe said that he "tap danced like Sammy Davis Jr." This Joe the plumber shit needs to stop.

4. I thought the story was that he heard Obama was in town and decided to crash to rally or whatever.

7. And he said that Joe the Plumber should not be smeared just because he asked a question
The suggestion is that it's Obama's fault that Joe the Plumber is being heavily scrutinized and allegedly smeared by the media. Insane. Isn't McCain the one who has virtually relabeled his campaign the Joe The Plumber Express?

8. The more McCain rides him like he's show pony the more stuff comes out on him
like outstanding court fee's and unpaid taxes, that's not the media's or Obama's fault.

9. What, a candidate asking for people to vote for them?!
I've seen footage of their encounter and it was "Sam the non-plumber" who approached Obama while Obama was talking with a group of people from the neighbourhood. Obama, as far as I know, never went to his house.

Also, isn't the whole point of canvassing to win over people to vote for them?

11. Obama did NOT go to "Joe's house"...
Sam the unlicensed plumber's assistant heard that Obama was in the neighborhood and sought him out. He then misrepresented his income and his occupation and the potential income of the business he was theoretically going to buy. Barack gave him sincere answers to insincere questions.

13. Another lie. Obama was canvassing in his neighborhood and Joe came out to talk to Obama.
I am beginning to wonder if McCain tells the truth about anything.

Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 01:53 PM by sickinohio
Joe saw the crowd outside of his house (so he says) and decided to go down and ask a few questions. By the way, wasn't that a weekday? and if so, why wasn't Joe out "plumbing" somewhere??

Anyway, we know the M$M will never correct McLame's lie.

15. Hey, John McCain!
You mean the guy that went out to confront Obama on the streets with a disingenuous argument about how if he bought this plumbing business he would be subjected to higher taxes? The same guy that apparently doesn't even have a chance in hell of buying that business to begin with? The same plumbing business that doesn't make anywhere near $250,000 a year? You mean the guy who really isn't even a plumber and doesn't even comply with the state law that requires him to at least hold an apprentice's license to work for a licensed plumber? The guy that, unlike hard working Americans, doesn't even pay his taxes even though he feels entitled to all that America has to offer? The guy that, in all likelihood, works under the table much of the time and doesn't pay his fair share of taxes, because after all he is entitled? The same guy that loves our military, but again he doesn't feel obligated like other hard working American to support them? John McCain, if you think Joe is a good representation of a hard working American, you sir, are an idiot.
Joe deserves all the ridicule and scorn that he may receive and can go to hell because as far as I'm concerned he's nothing more than a fucking freeloader. Fuck you Joe! We don't like paying taxes either but, as good Americans we do because we believe in a cause much bigger than ourselves.

17. What would a plumbing business have to gross in order to have net earnings of $250,000?
If the plumbing business is incorporated and files a form 1120 tax return, there would be a ton of deductions on it, from salaries to office overhead to equipment to mileage on company vehicles. I wonder what an average small business of this kind would actually have to make before the net corporate earnings exceed $250,000 for tax purposes.
