Obama mamas UNITE!!

I had an idea this morning while contemplating GOTV. As an Obama mama, I know that we are "experts" in an area that can have a massive impact on GOTV...carpooling. As any mother knows, there are days that we feel like a taxi! So, why not put that experience to good use? I submit this idea...Obama Mama's Carpool Caravan to the Polls. We could make it national. Organize we Obama Mamas to carpool people to the polls, early voting etc.

I've already submitted the idea to Colorado for Obama. What do you think?

1. Got a message back from the Colorado Obama Headquarters

basically said that I need to contact the local field office, which I will do of course. But, maybe we Obama Mamas all need to contact our field offices with this idea and get it going on a much larger scale.

6. I've got a Sante Fe

But, I can take 4 plus me. I was thinking that it should also be a buddy system for safety reasons. Pair everyone up. And perhaps come up with some sort of kit: umbrella, safety salt for some areas, big thermos of coffee, treats, etc. Now my mind is running away with ideas!
