3. Hard to believe I'm saying this, but Rasmussen is right
Usually they slant Repug, but their post-RNC numbers have been much more reasonable than the others.

4. 1pt lead for W!!!
Something tells me this won't be included on the scroll for all the networks and cable news channels. But I do remember repugs siting the Rasmussen poll in early August when the "major" national polls showed a 5-10pt lead for JK.

11. Strange
The strange thing is that they sound exactly like us at DU when we see a poll we don't like. It's the pollster, there cheating, there a left/right leaning pollster. etc

7. For those of you that follow polls closely
I've heard that the Time and Newsweek polls used flawed methodology. Are those flaws missing from Rasmussen?

8. Yep
Matter of fact, on his pay site, Rasmussen commented that he thought the Time poll was severely flawed - overweighted to Republicans

12. Time poll was simply ridiculous
They had this weird thing where when the phone was answered, they FIRST asked for the youngest male in the household, and if there wasn't a male, they asked for the oldest female. This was touted as some kind of random choice or something, but I'm durned if I can see how any kind of twisted statistical excuse can make that random.
