19. Sick people. I'm on a knitting board and many McCain fans did the unthinkable...

they have replaced their avatars with avatars of Hitler, Manson,OBL, Saddam, and others, and it says "Community Organizer" on them. Originally, after Palin's speechwriters slammed community organizing, the Obama supporters created avatars of people like MLK, and Mother Theresa, and the words "Community Organizer" The response to that was the McPalin people using those murderers.

That's the type of "good, American, christians" out there supporting McPalin. I say that with no hesitation because I've looked at their profiles on my knitting group and every single one of them belongs to christian groups there, and "patriot" type groups.

Remember that bumper sticker from the 60s? "Jesus is coming back! And boy, is HE pissed!"

Somebody in front of him lifted it up. And much as I hate to do this, if the sign is only printed on one side, they may not have even seen what it says. I hate to do that, but fair is fair.

This is the sort of crowd they're playing to -- and encouraging. You and I know -- as sure as Jesus loves kittens -- that if someone had held up an Obama sign, they would have been hustled out the door in about six milliseconds and their sign would be torn up. So, apparently, they have no problem with this sign. I don't care if the First Dud is actually holding it or not.

let todd worry about whether he was holding the sign or not. I feel no obligation to defend him about anything. Let him explain why the sign was tolerated at the rally -- whether he held it or not. Make him talk about it. Don't do his work for him. We just need to get it out in the open.
