LA Times - Republican Voter Registration Groups Submitting False Registrations - Where's The FBI?
Despite the GOP's efforts to get to the Justice Department to pursue an invesitgation into Acorn in order to support the McCain campaign, the fact of the matter is that the GOP is continuing to engage in voter registration fraud:

It is a bait-and-switch scheme familiar to election experts. The firm hired by the California Republican Party -- a small company called Young Political Majors, or YPM, which operates in several states -- has been accused of using the tactic across the country.

Election officials and lawmakers have launched investigations into the activities of YPM workers in Florida and Massachusetts. In Arizona, the firm was recently a defendant in a civil rights lawsuit. Prosecutors in Los Angeles and Ventura counties say they are investigating complaints about the company.

The firm, which a Republican Party spokesman said is paid $7 to $12 for each registration it secures, has denied any wrongdoing and says it has never been charged with a crime.

The 70,000 voters YPM has registered for the Republican Party this year will help combat the public perception that it is struggling amid Democratic gains nationally, give a boost to fundraising efforts and bolster member support for party leaders, political strategists from both parties say.

Those who were formerly Democrats may stop receiving phone calls and literature from that party, perhaps affecting its get-out-the-vote efforts. They also will be given only a Republican ballot in the next primary election if they do not switch their registration back before then.

could not afford to pay by the registration, these guys not rip off the GOP, but also throw all those registrations where the Democratic Party is checked in the trash.

3. Where's The MSM's Neutrality?
If Obama were to make his campaign center on such allegations, the MSM would make sure to mention similar allegations made against Obama. Yet, the MSM dwells upon Acorn while ignoring the widespread GOP efforts to suppress the vote or engage in voter registration fraud.

6. You know..we do read all this stuff..
so the MSM does have neutrality. It's just the tv that doesn't. I really think the cable news shows are dying from a self-inflicted wound.

2. To paraphrase Nixon...
When the Republican party does it, that means it's not illegal.

Republicans make me sick. :puke:

4. Voter registration fraud is not voter fraud.
A fraudulent registration form will not go through. This is why the whole ACORN thing is a scam where ACORN is the victim, because they flagged and turned in all false forms, letting the registrar's office know they were false.

It is a MUCH bigger problem that too many qualified voter's registration forms get bounced back because of a small, insignificant problem.

No form for Mickey Mouse will go through unless you are Mickey Mouse and your address and social security number is verified.

7. When I was in college
I worked for a voter registration drive for exactly two weeks. when my paycheck came it was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be. turns out i was only paid for the "republicans" I signed up. the Democratic and Independents were thrown away because they were "incomplete"...

goes to show nothing really changes.
