Oliver Stone's P.
If they ever get around to making a comedy about Palin, this should be it.

Come on Oliver! Do you know how many Oscars you can get for making movies about dumbass politicians!

3. Saw the movie last night it was great
I went at 10 after my girls were in bed so i wouldnt take away from "family time" and was surprised there were about 100 people there. I had a theory that maybe a lot of people from the 8 pm, movies wandered down the hall, but everyone seemed to be engaged. As far as the movie goes Id say it portrays bush as a young rowdy who found god, found his calling, didnt recognize his limitations, was lead into the Iraq war by people that wanted it, and ultimately feels tortured about that but wont take resposiblity for it. The dilema in the movie is that Bush wants to escape his dads shadow and become a decider but when he finally does realizes that maybe people were right that he is limited. Thats just a review of the Directors intent as portrayed. It was extremely funny, I expected a good movie and got it.

4. Will Smith is supposedly desperate to do the Barack Obama movie
Again, he wants an academy award.

9. Hmm, well as far as will smith goes
What he doest realize about his acting is that it is so mainstream. A few years ago a friend came into work and told me that Will Smith should really win for Pursuit of Happyness, to which I told him that any of the other 4 actors nominated could have done that role, but will smith couldnt have played Idi Amin (the eventual winner) when Smith realizes this he might win. Lots of actors could win Oscars, Harrison FOrd could if he went against type played a heavy in a supporting role, that would be a no brainer. Smith can be in Hancock and feel goods and win.

5. W was ok but not great
the parts with his father and while in the presidency were great... but man W lead one boring and completely uninteresting life. Stone called him not complex man and boy does the movie ever show that. I also makes it a little hard to watch. I'd rather have more white house years less flash backs.

6. I think W. portrays Bush as this decent, not so smart guy that got in way over his head
which is probably quite close to the truth. I think people that call him evil have the wrong idea.

I don't know. After 7 weeks of Palin, Bush doesn't bug me as much as he used to. She's dumb and malicous. He's just dumb.

8. Sarah Palin is NOT Oliver Stone material.
She's Lifetime Movie material. "Over her Head - The Sarah Palin Story"

10. "Back to Alaska" an Ovation Movie Special
I could write the ending. They have her family flying back the last scene is really quiet on the plane, they land in the dark and when she gets off there are thousands of people clapping, etc. (sort of like the end of the HBO Truman BIO PIC). In some ways at least W is a true believer, Palin is just an opportunist.
