It should be required viewing for everyone in the Kerry campaign.

last night and stayed up for the rerun at 2am. It was fantastic to hear what they were saying.

These guys were all great.

The people out there appearing for Kerry on the bobblehead shows and the bobblehead interviews need to learn from these guys. Most of these Kerry people making such appearances don't seem to have a clue about how to read the neo-con talking points in the questions asked of them, and also no clue as to how to respond. Witness, for example, Cahill's milktoast interview the other day - bland, boring, uninformed - they walked all over her like she was a carpet.

Lying down and remaining silent may make for good street theater, if you're trying to imitate people killed in an unjust war, but that tactic backfires as a campaign strategy - it's an invitation for the Rethugs to walk all over you. Just ask Michael Dukakis.

This has got to stop. Kerry himself could learn a lot from the five panelists on C-SPAN 2.

7. Is there a transcript for this?

I caught part of it during the day (thanks to alert DU'ers) and then taped the repeat at 11 pm.

If anyone can find a transcript, it will save me transcribing portions of it. The points made were good for brochure bullet points (with credit to the speaker, of course.)

8. I watched the entire 2-hour C-Span presentation yesterday...

It was absolutely great. Someone from DU had actually attended that live event and had graciously reported back highlights. Sorry I don't remember who it was, but it sure piqued my interest and I was glad to finally get to see it.

Also, just before that Mark Crispin Miller was on with his new book: Cruel and Unusual. He was just great also. I had never seen him live on TV and it was a genuine treat.

Thanks for the heads up on the website Seabiscuit. These guys laid out the straight truth. I hope many, many people see this.
