Jinxed Costumes & Magic in Brooklyn carries more than 6,000 costumes, wigs, props and masks -- including rubber masks of presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama.

But so many customers have been clamoring for a likeness of the feisty Alaskan governor that owners Tim and Lori Bodziony created one of their own.

They took a $42.99 chestnut brown wig, pinned it up in a Palin-inspired up-do, added a $12.99 pair of wireless spectacles and, voila! The beginnings of a Sarah Palin costume. Outfit, earrings and snappy comebacks sold separately.

"She's definitely going to be a hot Halloween costume," he said.

"I'll bet you if 'Saturday Night Live' had left her alone, she probably wouldn't be such a big deal" -- just like the Democrats' vice presidential candidate. There's been absolutely no demand for Joe Biden costumes, Bodziony said.

OR -- you could buy a Palin mask -- and re-use it later!

For some weeks and all across the country, attempts at buying a Sarah Palin mask have been frustrated by offers of, "Well, we could sell you a wig and some glasses."

But relief is here. The company that manufactures and distributes the masks says Palin's latex visage is available in Party City stores (several in Chicago) and other outlets beginning this week.

SNIP

Obama and McCain masks are easily available. Hillary Clinton masks are discounted; and George Bush masks are on closeout. There aren't any Joe Biden masks, but no one is asking for them.

Even if you aren't able to get a Palin mask in time for Halloween, they'd still be good for bank heists later—"Put the money in the bag there don' cha' know?"
