With all this extra money, I am wondering if Obama is going to do a nationwide ad blitz
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 09:51 PM by Quixote1818
in the last few days. He could even localize many of the ads and see if he can't get a few deep red states to bite and take a swim in an ocean blue.

From what I hear it will be very hard for him to spend it all. Maybe he should donate it to other Dem candidates who need the funds? Is that legal?

2. Maybe he'll buy up more air national time
He's already bought 30 minutes national air time prior to the world series, even to the point the game had to be pushed back to accommodate his speech running into the start time. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, I like that he has all those viewers but hope that he doesn't have a bunch of angry viewers mad that he's delayed their game.

5. He does have national ads running
I'm in the West Chicago suburbs, and I've seen many commercials on MSNBC. I'd be shocked if those were local only.

14. There's no extra money - its for the lawyers, if necessary. He IS giving
to congressional campaigns. They will solicit straight through to election day for election protection. He is planning on doing a half hour spot on Oct 29 to remind people NOT to take things for granted, to watch for and report voter suppression, etc..
