Score another point for politics. Bush is letting Iraqi cities fall under the control of insurgents. Can anyone doubt that we would be attacking these cities if we were not in the last months of an election?

Bush is losing Iraq and everyone knows it. The neocon plan of unilateral conquest was a mistake. We are losing Iraqi cities one by one. Now the only thing Bush can do is make sure the failure is as quiet as possible until the election is over.
