Where was Pat Buchanon during Vietnam?
This guy is always saying how credible the Swift Boat book for Bush is in his role as a MSNBC commentator or whatever he is. Besides running for president has he ever done anything of real significance or interest?

1. Avoided serving due to a bum knee...

though he remained an avid jogger.

10. Jay Leno actually did a great joke about this.
He goose-stepped around the stage on Comic Relief one year, demonstrating how Buchanan's bum knee wouldn't bend.

(Hard to believe it's the same Jay Leno that's currently stinking up the Tonight show, isn't it?)

3. Wasn't he working in the Nixon White House
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 02:11 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
he is one of the leaders Kerry was condemning in his 1971 testimony.

I saw him on Tim Russert's show yesterday praising the Vietnam War as 'a noble cause'.

11. He was the most
avid tennis player on the Nixon White House staff. His stand against the war on Iraq proves that a broken clock is right at least twice a day.

He does crack me up when he goes into his Swift Boat riff. Yesterday on some show he was going on about how he has 'studied' the book by O'Neill and Corsi and finds it credible. He caresses the names of the slanderers as though he'd sailed on the Mekong Delta with them. His eyes positively glaze over with rapture as he wet dreams about actually having been there. Pathetic.
