Please Keep In Mind What The Self-Serving Media Strategy Must Be For the Next 2+ Weeks
They need to keep this a horserace, advertising dollars depend on that. They did the same thing during the primary with HRC & BO. Chuck Todd slipped at one point and said the whole 50/50 scenario was a myth perpetrated by the media to make the race more exciting and have viewers tune in. He said that after Feb., HRC only had a 1/5 chance of getting the nom but the media kept beating the 50/50 drum for their own sake and interest. They're doing the same thing again with Obama and McShame. The irony is that they may be playing right into Obama's hands this time. Our fearless leader is concerned about complacency. By saying the race is so close the media is keeping voters very concerned which will in turn get them to the voting booths.
