In order to win this
the campaign can't sit and do nothing about bush's perceived strengths (the war on terror, etc.). You have to take a swing at his strengths to make a dent in the other issues you want to make. An example: Kerry's status as a veteran was considered a strength until they attacked that position relentlessly. It's time to "batter up" and take a swing for this campaign.

1. The way to do this is one on one
Talk to people. Find out what are their concerns. Tell them the truth, cite sources. Don't pay attention to polls or the so-called "liberal media". You may be surprised to find out how many regular voters don't pay attention to the news.

And for those who have drunk deep of the Kool-Aid--we can use the misinformation in the media to our advantage, and here's how: if Bush is so very much in the lead, individual conservatives who have problems with some of Bush's positions (like being for invetro fertilization, which results in the 'death' of 'unborn babies') can feel it is safe to vote third party candidates.
