I Saw A Really Great Bumper Sticker in Oklahoma....
Just had to tell all of y'all. I saw an outstanding bumper sticker on a car in Norman, Oklahoma. The driver was obviously a Kerry supporter, since he had a Kerry-Edwards sticker. Next to the Kerry campaign sticker he had another which is an absolute classic (well, it was a classic to me, since I hadn't seen it before). It read:

BUCK FUSH!

(for those who are as slow as I am, just transpose the first letters of the two words.)

Truly outstanding! And in Oklahoma, no less!

I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg. Here in OK (yes, I have a Texas flag as my avatar, since I'm a texan by birth and a Texas grad; I just live in Oklahoma), a lot of GOPers have been elected to office, since the so-called Gingrich revolution in '94. So, I had expected to see very few or no Kerry support. I'm starting to see a few K-E signs and bumper stickers to compete with the * signs. I'm smelling a turnaround this year.

Just thought I'd share a happy thought with you guys today.

You're welcome.

GO KERRY-EDWARDS '04!
BEAT THE LIARS!:kick:

2. So, I Guess You're Familiar With...
...with the "Tuck Fexas" signs that pop up in this area when the OU - Texas game is on tap.

I think that's the original inspiration for the bumper sticker.

Where did you move after leaving OK?

4. My Compliments...
...you are one tough hombre.

Life must be really tough for a Dem in the Deep South. It sure isn't easy in the heart of Oklahoma.

Fight the good fight and keep the faith.

Best regards.
