The despair is understandable but not wise...
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 04:03 PM by kentuck
We that have seen the theft of an election and the reckless act of an unnecessary war, cannot help but have our doubts about the capacity of our citizens to tell the difference between words and acts. It is easy to despair under such circumstances.

However, it runs counter to our desire to get out the message and inform our citizens of the threat our nation is under - and it is not from outside terrorists. It is from within. We must be courageous and hopeful, otherwise, we only harm ourselves. We must remain optimistic and positive that we can win this election. We must believe.

(edit to add comment below)

Because for each negative thought, we are driving down the turnout. We must remain positive. The enemy must see our smiles and question their own position. It is they that are weak and wrong.

1. The whole point of all this
propaganda and misinformation by the media is to discourage the Kerry voters. We mustn't fall into their trap. Make sure everyone you know gets to the polls in November! I'm the office manager/secretary of a small company. Part of my job is scheduling. One thing I'm doing is scheduling in voting time on election day-everyone in my company is voting Kerry!

2. the despair is the result of a lousy August and . . .
the recent gathering of the unwashed in NYC . . . it will pass as we get into the fall and start to see the real campaign begin . . .
