I’m right, you’re wrong – you’re right, he’s wrong
Pardon me while my head spins – if this is Sunday, then Kerry is fine. Or not. Or maybe.
For those who think Kerry needs to be mean, so be it. For those who think he needs to be honest, so be it. Upbeat – fine. Negative – have at it. He needs to fire people. He needs to hire people. He needs Carville. He needs Begala. He needs Cahill. He doesn’t need Cahill. He needs more balls. He needs to kick Rove in the balls. He needs to go balls to the wall. He needs wall-to-wall carpeting. Christ, my head hurts.
I possess no claim to political savvy – surely anyone who has read me here can attest to that. But I do have a rather strong interest in politics, and I have a rather long history of watching John Kerry in his various Senate races. He has this funny habit that we should all take note of – he wins them. Also of note is how he wins them – by following a pattern eerily similar to what is happening now.
“Kerry, left for dead, shows surprising strength.” “Kerry surging after weak start” “Kerry, rising from the ashes, makes his claim”
The Phoenix ain’t got nothin’ on this boy.
While we all love to be armchair quarterbacks, I think JK has been in the chair long enough to know what to do. Should we, in our inimitable fashion, continue to make suggestions? Of course – we are a nice barometer for the Kerry folks. Do our suggestions get looked at? I think they do, predicated on what the late lamented Dem_Strategist said while he was here. We should do continue to do those things that can be of help to the campaign. Heck, even venting works once in a while.
We’ve got miles to go before we sleep, and reports of the imminent arrival of the Kerry/Edwards Last Will And Testament have been greatly exaggerated.
