Rasmussen: Tied in MInnesota
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 04:47 PM by moonkee2
Was up 4 before the convention.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Minnesota%20Sept%205.htm

Couldn't be related to my inability to get a Kerry lawn sign. "Don't have those in yet."

Added on edit:

Note the Nader effect. (or is it affect?)

In August 27 poll third party was 3%, now it is 4.

Undecided was 6%, now it is 4%.

3. They didn't have them when I was at the fair
I drive regularly on HWY 23 between St. Cloud and Willmar, as well as to MPLS on I94 and see Bush or Bush/Cheney and Kennedy signs and have not seen one Kerry or Patty Wetterling sign. I do see lots more Kerry or ABB bumper stickers than Bush or W04 stickers.

4. Patty Wetterling has about half the money Kennedy has - he's over
one million I believe. She did recently raise more money than him, but is still way behind.

I drove around one portion of Lake Minnetonka yesterday and one guy has a massive B/C sign mounted on top of his fence.

6. The fair didn't have any signs, but had a sign up sheet. They are
planning a mass exodous of signs after the holidays ... sort of a blitz. I hear it was planned that way ;) shhhhhhhhhhhh

9. LOTS more K/E bumperstickers than B/C
On my daily commute from the west side of Mpls (by Penn Ave & I-394) to downtown St. Paul, I've seen MANY MANY MORE Kerry bumperstickers than I have Shrub stickers. As a matter of fact, the two Shrub stickers I've seen have been on Mercedes-Benzes. Go figure

Nader may have high #s right now, but when the rubber hits the road those votes will go for Kerry if it really looks close.

10. If you're going by the electoral-vote site...It's a strategic vision poll
That's a GOP poll. The previous poll used on that site was a Zogby poll. Not sure if that's what you're doing, but if you are, you're comparing apples and oranges.

Strategic Vision--biggest clients are Brownback and Klayman. Electoral-vote.com started listed a (R) beside the polling results to point out potential bias.
