He keeps getting mentioned over and over as a cure for ails the Kerry Campaign and I don't disagree. However, he is on Crossfire and is probably obliged under his contract to not be on the payroll of any campaign. At his website he says he hasn't worked on a domestic campaign since Clinton's in 1992. Here's the site:

So what do you think DUers? Write him, if only to say PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE? The future of our country and our planet needs Bush our of office now. The next 9 weeks are going to be bloody. Kerry needs Carville.

conclusion that you should be working for the kerry campaign.

Mr. Carville,

I sure do love watching you kick right wing ass on
Crossfire. I wish you could take Kerry aside and tell
him that he has to start hitting Bush where it hurts.
The Republicans have perfected the art of gutter
politics, and unfortunately, their tactics work on the
gullible American public. Karl Rove has managed to
shift the focus of the campaign from Bush's abysmal
record to questions of character, and of course, the
media is complicit in Rove's agenda.

Since the Democrats are allowing the Bush-Cheney
campaign to define the tone of debate, I think it's
about time Kerry takes the gloves off and begins
attacking Bush's less-than-stellar character. This is
a man who was AWOL from the Air National Guard,
pretends to be Christian while supporting policies
that hurt the poorest and most vulnerable segments of
society, and waging war on a country that had nothing
to do with 9-11, resulting in the deaths of almost
1000 Americans and tens of thousands of Iraqis.

Kerry desperately needs your help. For the good of
this country and your children's futures, please
advise Kerry to start kicking some ass!
