8. If he gets the Kerry states he only needs VA and IA. He wouldn't even need NM.

14. But it doesn't matter--cause we're going to win New Mexico.
It's turning dark blue.

18. They should. Virginia is dark blue at this point.
So is New Mexico and Iowa. Obama over 270.

13. Exactly. The more hateful they get the more it backfires and boosts Obama's numbers.
and once the hate machine get's a rollin' there's no way to get the repuke base to turn it off. Hate has taken over the McCain campaign. They are McHate now.

5. On Chuck Todd's map
He has Obama at 264....and he's not including Colorado or Virginia. Obama's going to take 1 of those 2 states and that'll put him over 270. I have no clue why Chuck Todd keeps listing those 2 states as toss-ups....especially Virginia.

12. Chuck Todd's been a tool lately
Even the Virginia GOP says McCain is in deep shit in VA! Everyone knows this but Chucky apparently. VA is anything but a tossup. It's certainly a 'lean Obama' if not a 'solid Obama' state. He's trying his best not to give Obama 270 EV's.

17. Nobody is more hesitant than Chuck Todd to give Obama 270. Even ROVE has Obama over 270.

Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 11:14 AM by Schulzz
VA + IA + NM = win. It doesn't matter what the national polls are showing on November 3. If he holds his solid lead in those states he is president - the Kerry states polling is looking even better.

21. Why is Virginia outperforming OH and FL by such a large margin?
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 11:47 AM by StrongBad
I seriously never expected this but am thrilled. I had the impression that folks in VA were much more conservative (in general) then in OH or FL. Why is Obama playing so well here?

MSNBC just had a guy on from Virginia that said they were winning the SIGN war in VA! They said that they were putting up 1,000 signs a week!

Last time I checked, signs didn't vote, but well, how can you fight it when their signs are winning? :sarcasm: ;)
