Doesn't that defeat the point of trying to get a fair poll?

God forbid that someone in the Kerry camp looks at this poll for how to spend TV ad money or time in a battleground state. If we messed it up by saying Ohio is now 5 points in our favor when it is 3 points Bushs way and they cut funding then what?

Don't get me wrong, I understand that you want Kerry to look like he is doing good but intentionally messing up a poll isn't the right way to do it....

Zogby is a very good scientific polling organization...it screws with the accuracy of the data if you sign up again using another e-mail address.

They don't send a poll to everybody in their data base.

I think it is wrong that the original poster is advocating creating aliases, even innocently with Zogby.

Some people seem to have a problem with this, inferring it's dishonest, we're doing our own brand of freeping here, etc. because I included in the original post about a secondary email address.

I will attempt to clarify.

I am registered at Zogby and answer them right away, so I get them all the time. Other family members are also registered, let it linger, forget etc., they DONT get them all the time. So we figured that if you answer right away and constantly, you get them all the time. THSI ONE I DID NOT GET. This poll is on their web site for ANYONE to take. I included the 'secondary email' thing IN CASE you're already registered and it's kicks you out by default.

I am not, nor was I encouraging 'freeping' it, stacking the deck, cheating, flooding, being dishonest or anything of the kind. What the hell good would it do to stack it, when the true poll results are anything BUT? IF you've taken this poll already at a previous time, by all means do not take it again, THAT would be stacking the deck and counter productive.

I was just trying to include people who my not have taken this particular Zogby.

I should have included all this at the beginning, my bad.
