Bush print ad submissions wanted!
We the people can create an issue that brings the media to us using viral and guerilla marketing techniques. Guerilla marketing means we disseminate our message using non-traditional delivery systems. Viral marketing means that the message creates buzz and it propagates exponentially. The computer ushered in the age of print and web based media accessibility to the masses. We are paying a lot of attention to online media and ignoring the most far reaching: PRINT media.
An example of an effective print piece highlighting Bush's failure and most importantly MOCKING him in the process:

Put them on car windshields. Hand them out on street corners. Drop them on driveways in the suburbs where the frightened inhabitants are sure to contact the authorities.

We don't need TV buys to get some attention on this issue. We have to undermine Bush's perceived strength. We all are potential disseminators of printed media. We do not need a newspapers permission or lots of money for TV commercials. We all have access to printers, photocopiers and paper. Many of us are very talented users of PhotoShop or Freehand. We all can create print ads like the one above. If we the people can create a buzz with massive distribution of printed ads we will get media coverage. The possibilities are endless regarding this type of grass roots guerilla marketing. Kerry is our product, Bush is the product we must crush.

The Bush administration's complete INCOMPETENCE is key to undermining his strength.

6. for it to be a flyer, i;ll add some more text on it.
we have to remember that our target audience is not us. All of us DUers can look at that image and appreciate all of the associations that go along with it. With the general populous, we need the catchy visuals but we need to connect the dots to the real issues for them as well.

9. great source for ideas
Is the 9/11 hearings. We should be using their own words to highlight failure.

9/11 should be Bush's weakness

As should Iraq

Companies kill for viral marketing. We can get something huge started.

10. OMG, I just thought of some slick anti-W campaign....
It would take money but if ACT or somebody could do this....

Make packs of "Warboy cigarettes" using the theme I used in this ad.
And each "cigarette" is actually a paper scroll (like the rolled up horoscopes they sell or at least used to sell in the grocery store checkout lanes)... and each scroll is an issue that is clearly labeled on the side of the cigarette. And they would be cartoons and very visual scrolls, funny and irreverent so people would want to read each one.

11. We need to think cheap and fast
We don't have time to wait for MoveOn or ACT to get an idea.

The beauty of guerilla marketing is that the recipients do not consent to being exposed to the message. That nonconsent almost always attracts media buzz.

12. In advertising the motto is
KISS

Keep it simple stupid

It needs to be Bush in 100 words or less. The Aug. 6, 2001 PDB example highlights the relevant points using bold text.

7. Remember think print media
The goal is to use guerilla marketing to expose unwilling parties to this message.

If guerilla marketing leads to media buzz we will have viral marketing. Viral marketing is PRICELESS.

How about:

Bush/Cheney
4 More Wars
