A friendly 527 does one ad for coke, another about the national guard, another about the business failures and insider trading. The focus of the ad should be that since the republicans say the past is a window to a person's character then it's only fair to examine the president's past.

After these ads run, we should demand the media cover them extensively for a month and then reach the conclusion they reached about the swift boat ads: "Well, we'll never know the truth. It's one person's memory against another and after all this time..."

Of course, this will never happen, probably shouldn't happen but it sure is fun to dream.

when he was asked by Jon Stewart last week the SBL ads had to be covered because it was news first and then over time the truth would have to come out and be weighed. Well let's see if they treat this the same way. The allegations here may or may not be true so we should talk about them for a week or two until they can be proved just rumors.
