Sorry if it didn't seem like it. I just added a dose of reality in that unscripted interviews are MUCH better than scripted ones, but they won't be as effective if we don't destroy the RWECHO chamber first.

You know, I was thinking, despite them having all the money, the seeds of their destruction exist in language, and the transmission of that worldwide efficiently and uncensored.

The Internet is the medium. Language is the foil. The destruction of the RWECHO is the goal.

I think we may already be well on the way to defeating it, and I suspect that election 2004 might be the first time the people win against the snake. I don't want to be too hopeful, but when you think about it, we're doing a damn good job on the net in such a short and penniless space of time. DU is a prime example of this.

I harp on this constantly to any RW who stands still long enough. The two points I make are:

Regarding the "Liberal" Media. My belief is that the smartest thing the Rethugs did was to paint the media as "Liberal", which is patently absurd. I point out, "Who pays the media's bills, us or the corporations?"

The second point is the non-stop 24/7 cheerleading for Shrubster on the cable news shows, especially FOX. Would anything good for you require this much marketing to keep it sold?

The complete lack of objectivity on the parts of Hannity, Rush, et al. clearly points to a sales campaign. I argue it as such. When they point out that the RW Echo Chamber has spoken of how Bush has failed them, point out that the only times this is true is when Bush is just not RW enough, and they always caveat it with, "What are you going to do, vote for a LIBERAL?"

If we can get them to acknowledge that they are being manipulated, they will turn violently on their masters. The hard part is getting them to accept it without turning on you.
