Why the Kitty Kelley book will work.
The reason people won't listen to criticisms of the Iraq war and the "War on Terrorism" is that they have this "man of morals" shield built around Bush. The Kelley book will remind voters of the type of person they are dealing with regarding Bush. Once his "man of morals" mantra is broken down, it makes it far easier to critique his lack of leadership. People don't wanna hear how honest, lovable men failed. They wanna hear about losers who have been losers all their life have failed. What we have to do is push the rich, spoiled, problem-child archetype to lay the groundwork for a resonating attack on Bush's failed leadership as a commander in chief. People will buy it more if Bush's morals are in question already.

9. "/sarcasm" after your statement is a sarcasm marker
It lets people know that you are being sarcastic.

RobertSeattle believes that your statement, "You are never going to get people to read a book about sex! There just is no interest." is not your true belief, but is a sarcastic remark.

"/sarcasm" or "/sarcasm off" lets people know you are not stating your true belief. When you're talking in person, people can pick up on sarcasm from your tone of voice. Not so on the computer.

10. Sorry. I thought the sarcasm was obvious. But I take your point.
Probably explains why I have gotten into trouble before. Thanks.

3. LOL!
Yes, that is exactly why it will work. A personal expose' will appeal to people who don't have the attention span to learn about Emperor George's serious mismanagement during the last four years.

6. Kelley's book will be supressed by the MSM
Watch and see if she doesn't get the cold shoulder from the very same people who gave us Vince Foster, Monica, Chinagate, Travelgate, Whitewater, Arlingtongate, etc., etc. -- all worth examining in exacting detail night after night on TV.

In other words, Ann Coulter can write a book about Clinton and she'll be on TV every night.

But, unlesss I am much mistaken, we ain't gonna be seeing very much of Kitty Kelley.

8. Not all Bush supporters buy the "man of morals"...
nonsense. Some of them actually think it's kind of "cute" that he has always been kind of a goof-off. I have pointed out to many repubs that Dubya has always been a loser, never succeeded at anything on his own, driven every business he's been connected with into the ground while ripping off small investors, etc., and they react like I've just insulted their idiot brother.

13. Why? Because * supporters don't pay attention to FACTS anyway
Kerry supporters are fact-based people. * supporters like him just because of his emotional appeal -- they can't even put it into words, but they like him because he makes them feel safe, bottom line.

What this book MAY do (if Rove fails to suppress it), is plant a question mark in the minds of those who have no time/interest in reading facts.
