The Cheney-Gore voting records

I found this while searching for info on how Cheney voted in Congress on weapons systems (recalling that he also voted against some systems and omnibus bills).

It details how Cheney compared his own record in Congress to Gore's to disarm charges he was too extremly conservative.

"If you look closely at those same votes and put Dick Cheney's voting record alongside of Al Gore's in that time period, there are not too many votes that are very different," Bush campaign manager Joe Allbaugh said Sunday at a breakfast with USA TODAY reporters and editors.

1. Gore was sorta a hawk but I doubt he opposed releasing Nelson Mandela

umm Dick why didnt you support releasing him? I doubt this is true because Gingrich has actually said that Cheney had a more conservative record than he did.

2. Cheney is Unfit to Serve

I mean, the man opposed the Apache helicopter, the Bradley fighting vehicle, and 86 other weapons systems.

Anyone with his record on Capitol Hill and at the Pentago is clearly unfit to serve.

He should, in fact, resign immediately.
