Was Dennis Kucinich in New York for the convention last week?

It occurred to me tonight that I didn't hear Dennis' name once in New York. I thought about it a second, and was kind of surprised to realize that he hadn't made any impact anywhere in the city. I've been to a whole bunch of large-scale demonstrations in the last two years, and at each and every one, the Kucinich folk were loud and proud, and showing the colors. :)

But there were several big protests last week, and if the Kucitizens were there, I missed them completely.

Dennis *always* made it to the important marches. The man lives without sleep. That's why I was surprised that I never heard his name last week. Did he not come? Does anyone know why?

I'm not being critical at all. Frankly, I hope the guy was taking a long nap in a soft bed. He earned it, with overtime. Just wondering.

But I did see and even shook hands with him at the Kerry-Labor rally in Akron this past Saturday. He was looking very laid back. Didn't give a stump speech, but was apparantly there, as he also was in Dayton after the RNC, to show his support for Kerry.
