Anecdotal evidence of us moving forward, Bush is a fiscal liberal
Hello all. I'm posting really quickly before heading off to work where I will be far too busy to even check DU today and probably all week.

Yesterday I got a phone call from my younger brother (younger by just over 11 months). First background information.

My brother is very conservative, especially fiscally. Socially I'd call him more of a moderate because he simply doesn;t pay attention to the social issues. He supported Reagan and later supported Bush I. He went for Clinton in '92 and Dole in '96. He supported Dubya in '00.

Yesterday he asked me if I was going to ask him about his man this year. I told him I didn't want to discuss Dubya. He said that this year he was supporting Kerry, mostly over the economy. I had planted the seed that Bush was fiscally liberal about a year ago and it has taken hold with my brother.

Folks, this is a winning issue. We need to stick the label of FISCAL LIBERAL to Bush. We can support it by pointing to his borrow and spend policies.

Most conservatives are fiscally conservative, and most moderates prefer fiscal conservatism. This is a winning issue for us and labelling * a fiscal liberal will be easy.

Now get out there and start hammering Bush for being a fiscal liberal.

1. We need fiscal responsibility instead of Bush's Fiscal liberalism
It's a winning meme, folks. It's short, sweet, to the point, and can easily be hung around Bush's neck like a sign that reads, "Idiot."
