Rightwing 'Weekly Standard'; bush IS NOT LIKEABLE
Yet in 2004, Republicans find themselves supporting a candidate, George W. Bush, with a slender and ambiguous military record against a man whose combat heroism has never (until now) been disputed.

Further--and here we'll let slip a thinly disguised secret--Republicans are supporting a candidate that relatively few of them find personally or politically appealing. This is not the choice Republicans are supposed to be faced with.

1. Then why is McCain on the stump for him?
What does he have to gain? I realize he holds his own in the party...has a temper etc....but his whore behavior is bizzard. It sure has lost that cross-over respect.

2. "Republicans are supporting a candidate that relatively few of them find
personally or politically appealing"

I'm sure some German citizens felt the same way, but Hitler was their glorious leader, so they had better support him.

This is really a shocking statement, as it goes against everything we've been told by the corporate media to date. See: "Who would you rather have a beer with", or "Folksy guy".

3. Do we dare hope
that this myth will finally be debunked across the country?

4. Excellent contradiction from Weekly Standard and mainstream media
One of them is lying and this time I think it is the mainstream media. The Weekly Standard has no reason to lie. They are firmly in Bush's corner. But they shine a bright light on the old fib that Bush is "well-liked". Most people see him for what he is - even though they want him to beat Kerry - he is not a likeable person.
