The Fla tally so far

After the first week of early voting in Fla, it looks like Democrats lead Republicans in turnout by 58,442 votes.

Early votes, total 956,192: Democrats 53.31 percent, or 509,790; Republicans 30.74 percent, or 293,970; Other 15.94 percent or 152,432.

Returned absentee votes, total 1,042,059: Democrats 35.23 percent, or 367,152; Republicans,50.34 percent, or 524,530; Other 14.43 perecent or 150,377.

Total ballots cast, 1,998,251: Democrats 876,942, or 43.89 percent; Republicans 818,500, or 40.96 percent; Other 15.15 percent, or 302,809.
