Looks like the MSM has started their Closing Arguments for McPalin
Edited on Mon Oct-27-08 09:30 AM by IWantAnyDem
It's all McPalin all the time.

Fox was the only blatantly pro-McPalin channel, but now, all of them are.

It's so obvious what they are trying to do in the last days of this election.

1. They want one more McCain comeback story
And they are willing to write it before it happens.

6. They want a nail biter on election night
IF they're calling ti right after the CA polls close, they lose advertising revenue.

What's even worse is if they have to call it BEFORE CA polls close. That totally screws up their bottom line.

8. They want a nailbiter AND a Republican victory
so they really don't see a downside to pushing McCain right now.

9. Exactly
I've been in broadcast sales....and I know how this works. Like for election coverage, the "hook" to get a company to advertise, is to tell that company that they'll have such and such ratings or the company will get free commercials in the future. So, if the ratings aren't what they promised, then there's a structure, based on the percentages they were short of what they were promised, and those companies will have commercials GIVEN to them in the future. For instance, if they're off 5% they get so many free commercials.....if they're off 10%, they get another amount, and so on. Which of course, if those are free, it eats into the commercial inventory that they could've sold.
